I hope you all saw the Richard Dimbleby annual lecture on BBC on Tuesday 23rd.
This year the American business magnate and philanthropist, Bill Gates gave an insightful and inspiring lecture on his vision of a world eradicated from Polio. He spoke of the effortless work volunteers did in Africa and many other developing countries. The volunteers trek mile after mile to reach millions of homes to vaccinate children under 5, in the sole hope to finally wipe out Polio and stop its spread.
“In the 2013 Richard Dimbleby Lecture, one of the world’s greatest entrepreneurs and leading philanthropists, Bill Gates, explains his optimism for a world free of the debilitating disease, polio.
